Hey friends! Today we're bringing you a super-cute and super-simple DIY card that is perfect for valentines day! We are excited to share it with you! This DIY is a Heart-Washi Tape card, used to decorate a simple stationary you already have. w h a t y o u n e e d > a simple or blank stationary (mine had flag cutouts on the top) > two white notecards > washi tape (I used about four different tapes) > scissors > two sided tape > pencil > pens or markers or stamps (for further decorating) |
w h a t t o d o > 1. Draw a large heart on one of the notecards in pencil. It can just be a rough sketch, it's only purpose is to be a guide. Mine was freehand but it may be helpful to use a stencil or something heart shaped. >2. Place strips of washi tape on the notecard, covering outside the lines. (pictured right) >3. Cut out your heart. From here, I planned on peeling the heart off of the notecard, but my tape was sticking to the card pretty firm, so I decided to just adhere the whole thing. >4. Use two sided tape to adhere your heart to the front of the card or wherever you choose to place it. >5. I used the other notecard to make three smaller hearts to decorate the envelope of the card. I also closed the card with a piece of washi. Please let us know if you make this DIY! Hashtag to #egofaith on insta! xo, claire |
